The event will also have free gifts available for any mothers attending, as well as exciting raffle items that will show any mother how much you care.
Songs My Mother Taught Me will raise funds for a Splashes of Hope mural project to be donated to Hour Children, a nonprofit organization that has provided supportive services to incarcerated and formerly incarcerated women and their families since 1986. Hour Children provides these mothers with a place to live and an opportunity for a new life. More information can be found at www.hourchildren.org
