Through our custom-designed coloring books, we can provide your child patients with a fun activity that introduces them to your specific facility or unit, its instruments and machines, and the procedures that might be received there. Designed with therapeutic and positive language explaining treatment, the jobs of doctors and nurses, and a child’s own healing process, the coloring books can be read aloud with families. The images waiting to be colored depict treatment and exams in a playful, child-friendly manner; in addition, jokes, puzzles, and word games can be added to the content of the book for older children. Pages can even be inserted that need to be filled out by patients and parents with information that might be useful in their treatment, such as when they last ate a meal.
