Splashes of Hope offers two mural options to easily accommodate the needs of your facility:

  1. In the classic method, our team of artists paints directly on the walls of your facility, flexibly working around the schedules of patients and staff members.
Depending on the size of your project, this generally takes anywhere from one day to two weeks, and can be accomplished during nights, weekends or whenever is most convenient for you.
  2. We can also paint your murals in our art studio, to be delivered and installed by our team.  With this method, the murals are painted on 4′x8′  masonite panels  which can be custom-cut to any shape or size.  The benefit of this option is that the murals can be installed as well as taken down with ease if your facility moves or undergoes construction, the murals can be re-installed, making the Splashes of Hope mural a mainstay in your facility.

FULL WALL MURALS:

FOCAL POINTS:

Sometimes all you need to make an exam room less intimidating is a strategically placed focal point. Especially great for young patients, focal points often feature a friendly character to brighten up your walls. Especially effective for procedural positioning, you can ask them to look at one of our cheerful images in that direction. It’s a wonderful way to keep their focus while allowing them to enjoy an adorable animal smiling back.

CEILING TILES:

Why stare up at a bare white ceiling while receiving treatment or recovering when you could instead look out of a window into a sky filled with fluttering butterflies and colorful hot-air balloons? Our hand-painted ceiling tiles can pop into most ceilings right over hospital beds and provide a pleasant visual focus accessible to patients as they lie on their backs. These tiles, which come in a variety of themes, are one of the easiest and most affordable ways to provide cheer and comfort to patients.

BORDERS:

Borders are a great way to decorate the entire perimeter of frequently used exam, treatment, and waiting rooms, hospice bedrooms, or long stretches of hospital hallways. Panoramic landscapes, underwater panoplies, and expansive city skylines are just some of the scenes that can light up these spaces. They can be painted at any height along the wall, from directly beneath the ceiling for bed-ridden patients, to eye-level for patients in wheelchairs.

ENTRANCE DOORS:

Imagine the difference between walking into a hospital unit with plain white, industrial entrance doors with walking into the same unit with doors leading you into a magical kingdom. It’s easy to see that a patient’s trip to their treatment room would seem a lot less scary with our customized entrance doors, which can feature any theme you desire, from a castle drawbridge to the Golden Gate Bridge.

EXAM OR TREATMENT ROOM DOORS:

A scene painted on the back of a closed door can remove some of the stress that accompanies being confined to one room during a procedure or exam. An image of a wide meadow, or a dock on the harbor will make the environment more friendly, with vibrant yet soothing colors to warm up the room in a tranquil and therapeutic way.
