About Our Volunteers
Splashes of Hope greatly relies on our dedicated volunteers, who have supported us in bringing murals across the country. Over the years, our volunteers of all ages have supported us both in the office and in the studio.

Volunteer Artists
Our volunteer artists support us in both our events in the parks as well as in the studio. At a variety of events in Suffolk County Parks, our artists lend their skills to provide face-painting and mural-making to the public. In the studio and at home, artists have painted ceiling tiles to be donated to local facilities, as well as supported us on our large-scale mural projects both in the Long Island area as well as out-of-state.

Splash Clubs at Local Schools
A number of Long Island schools have begun Splash Clubs for art students to use their talent to support our cause. Our Splash Clubs have had members from ages 8-18, producing a variety of art projects to enhance Splashes of Hope’s programs. High School Clubs have produced full-sized murals for local projects, while our younger club members have decorated gift bags for our fundraising events.

Office Volunteers
The Splashes of Hope office occasionally seeks volunteers to support us in our filing and grant research, as well as aiding us in our fundraising events throughout the year.
Responsibilities at fundraising events include greeting our guests, raffle and coloring book sales, art handling and registration. Volunteers have also been welcomed to our events’ committee meetings.

Splashes of Hope has been lucky enough to have employees of local businesses to volunteer their time to us. Non-artist volunteers are always welcome to support us at our fundraising events, Arts in the Parks events, and even helping prepare local facilities for their upcoming Splashings.
